IDEA SOURCING
Gold Mind strategically identifies impact-driven ideas that align with our platform's in-house framework, while demonstrating a clear approach to operational feasibility and measurable success.
COMMITTEE REVIEW
Gold Mind internal committee carefully reviews and approves proposed projects under a rigorous evaluation process in line with donor expectations.
PROJECT LAUNCH
Once approved, the founding team is paired with a Gold Mind Mentor to guide concept development into planned execution while securing additional funding from external sources.
OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Assigned Gold Mind Mentor continues to provide "board observer" style support to the founding team and milestone-based quality checks alongside impact reports to donors throughout all executionary phases.
MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER:
Character – a word deeply ingrained in American culture—finds its roots in the Latin term associated with a “symbol branded on the body.” It signifies the indelible mark we leave on the world, a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.
Life offers many experiences that shape our character. For me, being recruited to play basketball in high school led to the discovery of teamwork and the power of a shared purpose – creating something greater than the sum of individual effort. This belief guided me to West Point, where I was instilled with the values of duty, honor, and country – principles that shaped my understanding of what it truly means to lead others.
A deployment to the Middle East with the U.S. Army and furthering my education at the University of Oxford taught me that leadership is not just about command; it is about impact – about using our skills, resources, and experiences to create meaningful change around us. This perspective deepened during my time in investment banking at Bank of America, where I witnessed firsthand how strategic advisory and the virtuous cycle of growth can drive transformation at scale.
Americans have long understood that true character extends beyond personal success – it is about contribution. From an early age, we are taught the importance of giving back, whether through community service or leadership in extracurricular activities. This emphasis on social responsibility is a hallmark of the American experience and should be carried forward as a generational duty.
With this vision in mind, I founded this platform to connect accomplished veterans – individuals with both military and corporate expertise – with social impact leaders. Our goal is to partner with and mentor them through every stage, from idea generation to plan execution. By forging these connections, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change, ensuring that the next generation of leaders is equipped not only with ideas but with the tools and support to bring them to life.
