Character – a word deeply ingrained in American culture – finds its roots in the Latin term associated with a “symbol branded on the body.” It signifies the indelible mark we leave on the world, a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.
 

Life offers many experiences that shape our character. For me, simply being recruited to play basketball in high school led to the discovery of teamwork and the power of a shared purpose, an epiphany that led to the decision of attending West Point. 
 

Americans have long understood that true character extends beyond personal success. From an early age, we are taught the importance of giving back, whether through community service or extracurricular activities. This emphasis on social responsibility is a hallmark of the American experience and basis for servant leadership.
 

In a disruptive era where tech founders are leading the transformation of a new world order, we want to empower entrepreneurs of character for civil stewardship.
